Hi! Welcome to my blog PERLA. This is a place where all are shown how to affordably style themselves, while still looking and feeling, confident and beautiful! PERLA is about Passion, Expression, Radiance, Love and Acceptance. Everything from how to dress your body type, to creating budget friendly outfits will all be here at your fingertips! You are the biggest part of PERLA so it would only make sense for you to feel as though you're involved with creating every small thing that takes place.

It was toward the end of my senior year of high school that the idea came to me about starting a blog. I had a lot of transitions going on at one time. I know we can all relate to that. I so desperately needed an outlet that allowed me to be creatively free.  I started to think about my future and what I wanted to do with it, the frustration of not having a clue consumed me. I had no idea what I wanted to do. One thing that was definite was whatever it was I wanted to be hands on, creative and passionate. Then one day I was on my computer and came across a Wix ad and clicked on it. Then the idea popped into my head. Why not start a blog?

As far as I can remember I have always had a deep love for fashion and designing. Being able to create sketches of clothes and putting together beautiful pieces was EXACTLY how I could be creatively free. So, I started to sketch again and the excitement started to come back. I spent the last few months putting together everything you see right in front of you. Not one thing on this blog hasn’t had a lot of thought put into it without you in mind. The best part through this journey is seeing what hard work takes, and it truly is invigorating to see an idea come to life. So many people have ideas in mind but they remain a thought. I wanted to make sure that this idea came to life and seeing it all unfold makes me so happy. 

If there’s something that I can take away from this last year it’s that if you’re in a similar to same situation as I was it is okay. The answer of what we want to do with our lives has always been within us. It may take a while but eventually it will slowly present itself to us. So while you wait: paint, read a book, go do something you’ve always wanted to do. Inspiration can come in many unexpected ways. You will find your calling and when you do, never stop trying to be the best at it! Always reinvent the wheel. Always push and don’t ever take no for an answer, too many do. Just because it couldn’t be done one way doesn’t mean there aren’t a thousand other ways to do it.

I will continue to make this blog grow because it is something I believe deeply in. I don't want this blog JUST to be about fashion because fashion isn't my only passion. There is more to me than just how to style clothes and thats what I want to portray. Thank you to my friends and family for being such a great support system and thank YOU. Thank you for taking the time to read this post I hope it can bring something to your day. Most importantly I hope this blog inspires you as much as it has for me.
