Bringing Back The Trend

Old fashion trends never go out of style. They always seem to come back with a modern twist. The 70s were where I drew the most inspiration for these looks. This decade is so great to recreate because of the fun colors and patterns used. Simple elements from your favorite decade can make your outfit unique and stand out from the rest.

Some trends I incorporated within these looks were paisley patterns, flared jeans, and a vintage sporty sweater! The paisley pattern can be fashionable and modern depending on the design of the clothing and the way it is styled. The shirt is a button up with a slightly ruffled collar. The colors in this shirt make it great for fall because of the brown and slightly pink tones. What really drew me in when I choose this piece were the hints of sparkle it has. All over the shirt there are small circles of orange sparkles adding a nice pop of color. I choose to tie the shirt on the bottom but it easily can be styled tucked in or left down.

Flared jeans are perfect for two reasons. These kinds of jeans really hug your curves and showcase your figure. They also elongate the leg because of the flare. I paired these jeans with a chunky brown heel to add to the illusion of longer legs.

Finally, sweaters are a big essential when it comes to the colder months. This vintage sweater I picked out is comfortable and unique with how its designed. Sweaters have so many different ways you can wear them customized to your own preference!
