Happy Moments

I love when I catch myself being genuinely happy. I love when I’m just going about my day and I feel cheerful. It’s those days that nothing eventful happened, I just woke up with a smile. I love days like these because it can seem like everyday I’m pulling myself together and trying to feel positive. The other day I was having a rough day and I just let it happen. I knew that I needed that day to feel bad about myself and just feel those negative emotions. It’s healthy for me ,mentally, to just wallow in sadness because then in a day or two I feel happy again. I used to never let myself feel sad and always tried to ignore and suppress the negative thoughts. Since I've stopped doing that I’ve had more days where I’m just happy for no reason. Sometimes even as weird as it sounds I don’t allow myself to say “This is going to be a great day” because I feel like I’ll jinx myself. I need to learn to acknowledge a good day and to enjoy it instead of feeling like at any moment the feeling will be gone. Even if something negative happens later that day I want to enjoy my burst of happiness in the moment. I want you to try find your happy moments throughout the day and just live in the moment. It could possibly make your day a little brighter!
I’ve been a bit busy trying to study for finals and haven’t made time to make more personal blog posts. However, when finals ends I’ll have more time to take more pictures of outfits for you and I’ll be able to post more often! I’m starting to work on looks for spring time and it’s gonna be unlike any other look book you’ve seen from me!
I hope you all have a lovely Monday and an even better week!
Your friend,
Perla
